Last weekend after the July Fourth celebrations, Volkswagen
Group of America, (VWGoA), Inc. volunteered more than 250 hours of service to
help clean up the National Mall in Washington D.C. after the Fourth of July
fireworks and celebration activities. VWGoA also provided a 2014 VW Touareg
Hybrid to support the Trust for the National Mall in its ongoing clean-up and
volunteer activities done in order to keep our National Mall the beautiful

The 2014 VW Touareg Hybrid was wrapped with the Trust for
the National Mall’s logo and is intended to be used by the volunteer
organization to raise awareness for its mission to provide hands in support for
the continued restoration and the upkeep of the most iconic strip’s of
America’s real estate. Caroline Cunningham, president of the Trust for the
National Mall, had this to say about the volunteer efforts by VWGoA and its
employees:
"Today’s contribution demonstrates the deep level of
commitment Volkswagen has for restoring and improving this iconic park. Above
and beyond its generous financial donation, the company and its employees are
leading the way by lending valuable time and resources to this historic effort."
