2015 VW Golf and 2015 VW Golf GTI Named to Car and Driver’s 2015 “10Best” List!

Last month, your local Urbana Volkswagen dealership, Jennings Volkswagen, was pleased to learn that two of our most popular cars had been named to Car and Driver’s exclusive 2015 “10Best” list! The 2015 VW Golf and 2015 VW Golf GTI took home their ninth-consecutive  “10Best” award and were praised for exceptional versatility, dynamics, and value!

The Car and Driver annual “10Best” list features the magazines 10 most favored new vehicles on the market. The editors evaluate vehicles on value, performance, and the ability to satisfy the driving needs of the consumer. In order to be considered, a vehicle must be on sale by January, it must be priced below 2.5 times the average car price for that year, and the vehicle must be provided for testing by September. The editors at Car and Driver had this to say about the two award-winning VW models:

"The Volkswagen Golf is the Swiss Army knife of enthusiast transport. No matter your preference in price, practicality, and performance, there’s a Golf that will take your money without giving up much in any other direction. The gasoline TSI models perhaps represent the paring knife. The practical diesel TDI models represent the screwdriver. And that spear-like awl is the sharp-edged GTI."

Volkswagen Credit Ranks Number 1 in 2014 U.S. Consumer Financing Satisfaction Study!

Last month, your team here at your Chicagoland VW dealership, Jennings Volkswagen, was pleased to learn that VW Credit, Inc (VCI) was named the highest ranked mass-market finance provider in the 2014 J.D. Power Consumer Financing Satisfaction Study. VW Credit is the captive finance arm of Volkswagen of America, Inc.(VWoA). Keep reading to learn more!

The J.D. Power Consumer Financing Satisfaction Study measures and evaluates the satisfaction among consumers who have financed or leased a vehicle indirectly through a dealership or directly through an auto finance provider. Four key factors are considered: on-boarding process, billing and payment process, the website, and phone contact between consumers and providers. J.D. Power conducts the study in two vehicle segments: mass-market and luxury. The satisfaction of consumers is measured on a 1,000-point scale and is based on responses from over 25,000 new and used vehicle purchasers or lessees and responses were gathered between July and September 2014. .
