Throughout the month of October, Jennings Volkswagen is working with Willing Partners Canine Education, Inc. to help raise money in support of wounded veterans in Chicagoland! For every new Volkswagen vehicle purchased or leased at your Glenview Volkswagen dealers, Jennings VW will make a donation to Willing Partners! Willing Partners Canine Education, Inc. is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the training of service dogs. The organization works closely with physicians, nurses, counselors and other caregivers to help develop a training program that allows veterans to recover from the physical, mental, and emotional wounds of war. The service dogs help veterans to cope with PTSD, traumatic brain injury, physical limitation, and depression. The program either allows veterans to use their own dogs or will recruit a dog from a local shelter and will train both as service dogs to help the wounded veteran. No veteran will ever be turned down for a lack of funding, as Willing Partners Canine Education just wants to help our nation’s heroes.
