VW Keeping Busy for 2015 Model Year!

The 2015 model year is going to be a big one for Volkswagen! Several models, including the Volkswagen brand’s signature sedan, the 2015VW Jetta, are redesigned to offer better fuel economy, better value, and more features. Everyone is going to want to drive a Volkswagen vehicle once they see the new crop! Keep reading to find out more!

Re-designed models include the 2015 VW Golf, the 2015 VW Jetta, and the 2015 Golf GTI. There's also an all-new TDI Clean Diesel Engine option that will be offered in at least five new vehicle models. In addition to all that excitement, 2014 marks the year Volkswagen will introduce its first fully electric vehicle to the U.S. market, in the form of the 2015 VW e-Golf.

The 2015 VW Jetta is redesigned with new stylings and driver assistance systems in addition to its increased fuel efficiency. New systems include blind spot monitoring, rear traffic alert, forward collision warning, and park distance control. The Jetta 1.8T models offer the EA288 diesel engine, which, when paired to the manual transmission, should improve fuel efficiency by 4 mpg over previous generations. This year marks the seventh-generation of the Golf and the Golf GTI models, both of which are bigger, more fuel-efficient, and better stocked that ever before. The 2015 VW Golf comes in two forms: one that focuses on power and one that focuses on efficiency. The 2015 VW GTI comes standard with 2.0-liter TSI engine, with an option to get more power with a 220 horsepower version available. When equipped with the optional Driver Assistance Package, both models have been named Top Safety Pick+ designations by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
