Volkswagen Teams Up With Global Green USA to Auction First Ever 2015 VW e-Golf for Charity!

Earlier this week, Volkswagen of America, Inc. announced that it was partnering up with Global Green USA to auction off the first-off-the-line 2015 Volkswagen e-Golf in order to raise money for environmental awareness! The auction lasts for the rest of the month and will award the winner with the keys to the very first 2015 VW e-Golf before the first ever all-electric Volkswagen hits dealership lots. The 2015 VW eGolf is set to go on sale later this fall in select markets, and is sure to wow drivers. The fully-equipped hatchback features a 24.2 kWh lithium-ion battery and an electric motor that produces 115 horsepower and 199 pound-foot of torque. It also comes equipped with a 7.2kW onboard charger and DC fast charging port.
