2015 VW Jetta Offers a Trim and Powertrain for Every Driving Style!

The 2015 Volkswagen Jetta offers drivers a full line-up of impressive powertrains, great fuel economy, and a spacious and comfortable interior that they are sure to love! The regular four-door 2015 VW Jetta comes in Base, S, SE, Sport, and SEL trim levels, while TDI models (those equipped with a turbodiesel) are available in S, SE, and SEL. The performance-based GLI comes in SE and SEL trim levels. Base and S trims come powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 115 horsepower and 125 pound-foot of torque. It comes paired to a five-speed manual transmission, though a six-speed automatic is optional. The EPA estimates that this engine will average 23/34 mpg with the automatic and 25/34 mpg with the manual. The SE and SEL feature a much stronger 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 170 horsepower and 184 pound-foot of torque. The SE will get the same transmission options, while the SE with Convenience or Navigation and the SEL will only be offered the automatic. The EPA estimates the 1.8T will average 25/37 mpg with the manual and 25/37 mpg with the automatic.

TDI models feature a 2.0-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder that generates 150 horsepower and 236 pound-foot of torque. It comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, and a six-speed automated-manual is optional. The EPA estimates that it will average 31/45 mpg with the manual transmission, and 31/46 mpg with the automatic transmission. If you’re looking for a little more oomph to go along with your ride, GLI models are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 210 horsepower and 207 pound-foot of torque. It comes paired to front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission, while a six-speed DSG automated manual is also optional. The EPA estimates that it will average 23/33 mpg, city and highway, with the manual and 24/32 mpg with the automatic.
